The Nursery would like to thank Aaron's mum Maria, for taking time out of her busy salon," Scissor sisters" in Camlough to come in to the Nursery and give an interesting, fun and engaging presentation on hairdressing.  The class really enjoyed it and I think Maria has inspired a few budding stylists.

 Many thanks to Karena, Jack's mum for coming in and taking a gymnastics lesson for the Nursery.  Karena runs "Gym Trix" in Crossmaglen.  The children really enjoyed the experience - great fun was had by all.

The Staff and Pupils of St Mary's wish to extend their sincere appreciation to all who have supported our School Variety Shows and Sponsored walk which combined have raised £4368 for school funds.

St Mary's donated £100 to Past Pupil Eadaoin D'Arcy who will be travelling as a volunteer to Swaziland to help with the renovation of a village school.

CONCERT  UPDATE

THE TICKET CRISIS IS OVER!

TWO NEW CONCERT DATES HAVE BEEN ADDED TO OUR PROGRAM.

• TUESDAY 18th JUNE - 

     Nursery, P2, P4 & P6 performing

• WEDNESDAY 19th JUNE - 

     P1, P3, P5 & P7 performing

Due to unprecedented demand, tickets for both Wed. 12th and Thurs. 13th sold out today. The Hall will be filled to Health & Safety capacity at 220 seats both nights. We apologise if you were disappointed today but we can only seat as many people as we are allowed. Following an urgent staff meeting this afternoon it was unanimously agreed to provide our time and services again for two extra nights. We hope this will alleviate the ticket crisis.

READING CHAMPIONS

A very big congratulations to the girls in P5 who have earned the Reading Champions bronze award set by The National Literacy Trust. This completes 4 months of high profile reading project work which included story telling in the Nursery, doing the Paired Reading Program with P2 & P3 and raising their own personal reading ability to new standards. The girls were presented with specially commissioned trophies purchased for the occasion by Master McDonnell .

HANDWRITING WINNERS

CONGRATULATIONS to all our handwriting competition winners. All entries are now displayed throughout the school and the winning samples are featured on the board outside the secretaries' office. Thanks to SPAR Mullaghbawn for sponsoring us with Easter eggs.
